The hotel really caters to business travelers. On our vacation, we drove to Vaduz; hotel has no parking on-site, uses public lot nearby. Not convenient for those with lots of luggage. Front disk is attended sporatically and not 24/7. Hotel is NOT air-conditioned, windows open very little. Service in the restaurant in the hotel was unacceptable; we waited more than 20 minutes (after being seated) for someone to take our order -- and left before anyone arrived.”
The castle over Vaduz is just up the road and nicely viewed from this terrific hotel, which manages to be both remote and convenient. The rooms are excellent - very comfortable and clean - and the staff is quite helpful.”

Excellent - the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the restaurant, where I had both breakfast and dinner was just stunning - the hotel is located on the hillside and overlooking the valley where the Rhine River is flowing through. I had dinner at the hotel both nights I stayed, and I would say that food was excellent accompanied with a very good selection of wines. I can give my best recommendation of this hotel, and I would love to return.”
This is a business hotel. It was, however, perfect for our needs and a long weekend break (Thurs-Sat). All of the personnel were very friendly and efficient. We had a family room (40), and it was great for two adults and two teens. It was a suite, so the bedroom had a door and the couch pulled out into a double bed. The room was very warm--perhaps because it is over the laundry, so we opened the windows to be comfortable (in December). There are a lot of stairs to get to the room. It wasn't a problem for us, but be warned. The pull-out double bed was fairly hard, but the teens survived. The bathroom was nice. Lots of storage. The room had an oven, stovetop, fridge, hot water maker, cabinets for storage, even plates and silverware. There was a nice table for eating and playing games. We were able to park in the garage, which was nice in the snowy weather. The hotel is convenient to Vaduz and the rest of Liechtenstein and surrounding areas of Switzerland. You will need to drive to most restaurants, etc. On the weekend, the hotel restaurant is often closed, but they accommodated us with room service when we asked. We really appreciated the already-stamped postcards. Breakfast was tasty, particularly the hot chocolate. We had a choice of soft boiled eggs, meat, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh bread, pastries, etc.”

We were amazed to find such high quality in a small mountain-side hotel. Amazing view over the valley into Switzerland, excellent, high-quality, clean and comfortable accommodations, and even good food! Can't miss.”

the hotel had nice rooms, was very clean but was at a heavily traveled street (not too bad during nights). Restaurant was great.”
