The location is far from other restaurants, and you need a taxi to get anywhere. The entrance is kind of interesting: I walked up what appeared to be the main entrance, up a steep incline and a number of steps. I was met with a locked gate, which I climbed over with my backpack on my back. Apparently, one is supposed to enter through the back. Restaurant okay. They have an internet-connected computer for guests' use, which was nice.”
They are no words that can describe the experience I had this past weekend. The service from the moment we stepped onto the property was like royalty. This resort is just AWESOME !!! Now, I have stayed in Jamaica before at another five star resort but the Iberostar Grand should be in a class by themselves. Thanks to Makenna, Sylvester,Al,Jerry,Morris Day(real name),Donavan and the whole entire staff. I shall return just as soon as I can. Best vacation in Jamaica ever.”
great resort, clean, spacious modern rooms with jacuzzi, decent food, clean and beautiful pool, good entertainment for children, sunset cove beach is very nice. overall staff is quite helpful but one downside (problem to be addressed) is that male staff at the hotel can be quite annoying and aggressive and harrass attractive female guests.”
Lovely hotel and room super comfortable!!! Love that it's apart of the town where everything was conviently available! Wish the wifi was available to the rooms and not limited to the lobby area and not happy that there was no room service for the last two days and yea, the pool was really dirty didnt get a chance to use it... And i was lookinh foword to that!!! But overall good experience!”
The food at the Xtabi restaurant just made my stay there even more enjoyable. Cliffside dining is a wonderful and relaxing experience. And you can easily take a taxi to the beach and the shops on the strip. Would recommend to anyone.”

I had not been to Jamaica for 28 years. Therefore, when I made the reservation I did not know what to expect of the Shaw Park Hotel. I was very pleased with my stay. The Private Beach was awesome. The food and drinks was off the hook. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Overwall nice getaway place. NO PROBLEM MAN!”

Pleased that we twice booked this modern hotel in New Kingston.Friendly knowedgeable staff. Good location close to main Business district and an excellent Dentist. Hotel grounds nicely landscaped. Low rise rambling structures, rather than sterile high rise edifice.”
