Our stay in the hotel was very good. All the facilities were up- to- date and were in well working condition. The cleanliness of the room was second to none. The bathroom itself had all the necessary amenities. Overall, a comfortable and worthwhile stay.”
This is definitely the top location for a hotel in Dublin. It is in the middle of Temple Bar area and next to everything you want to see. Right by the Dublin Airlink drop off and the Hop on Hop off Bus locations.”
Very happy with my stay. Staff were very friendly and made me feel at home. Overall I could find little fault with my stay, except- very dim lighting in bedrooms I would happily stay again but I would like to know first that I could see where I am going in the room !”
The experience as a whole was very good, hotel is very clean, staff are helpful and friendly, hotel food is cheap but doesn't lack on quality, atmosphere in the bar at night is a good one. The only problem I did have is that we were given a room on the floor that all the family rooms are on so we were woken by kids at the crack of dawn both mornings & again the kids were very noisy during the day etc so it made the hotel slightly less appealing to be in a the time. I'd give the experience an 8.5/10 overall, hotel is great, locaton is close to the town, there is lots to do and Galway is a lovely place.”
The staff were very good, the food in the main restaurant was excellent. The room wasn't great, the shower didn't work and one of the lights in the bathroom didn't work. But it was comfortable and very warm. The place could do with a bit of a maintenance sweep. Having said that I would recommend the hotel mainly because of the staff, food, relaxed atmosphere and location.”
The food was delicious and not too expensive, the rooms were very spacious and quiet considering you're next to a main road. The were also very clean and modern. The pool again was very clean but a little on the small side. Location was ideal for me as I did not need to be in the city centre but for someone visiting Galway to experience the fantastic nightlife that Galway has to offer, you will definitely need to be splashing out on taxis!”
The hotel was ideally situated close to the town centre. The bedroom was very clean but there were some marks on the carpet. The room was very warm and there was no way of regulating that overnight so it was uncomfortable at times. The receptionist was somewhat brusque but I would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay in town overnight.”
I found the hotle staff just wonderful ! from the bar staff to reception they were very friendly and extremly helpful. The swimming pool was really nice and relaxing and I was really impressed with the rooms they were very colourful and funky !”
The hotel is very nice. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful, However the location wasn't great for us as we were going to a gig in the city at night and the hotel is not in walking distance from the city and the surrounding neighbourhood is not very safe to walk through. The taxi we took came in at about 9 euro. i would not recommend staying here unless you have car.”
Old style hotel with high ceilings and wide corridors. Lights in bathroom took about 10 seconds to come on is my only serious complaint. Easy walk into town but a tough walk back for some as all up a steep hill. Very pleasant staff. Would stay again”
we stayed in cork for a night to watch a gig in the opera house and really enjoyed our stay. It was pleasant, comfortable, discreet and professional. I would and have recommended already to friends and family etc...”
We had a really lovely stay in Hayfield. The staff could not have been incer , friendlier or more professional. The food was fab The only down side was the hotel was very busy this particular weekend. We found it hard to find a seat in bar ,lobby or any of the public rooms on Saturday night to enjoy a drink. I think the next time we visit we will do it midweek. The cost of a taxi from the Hayfield to city center varied between €7 & €10 I am looking forward to our next visit already.”
