Small but stylish hotel on a quiet street in a top neighbourhood. The room was modern and spacious. The staff were very helpful and reception staff spoke english. The only thing that I would recommend would be double -glazing for the rooms on the street front, as there was some traffic noise from the nighbouring streets, but even that was not bad by BA standards.”
I had a last-minute trip to Buenos Aires and had the Hollywood Suites recommended to me by an associate in B.A. I had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Their concierge service was excellent and they were eager to help with anything we needed.”
What a wonderful place to spend a few days on the edge of the forest with great pools and walks around the hotel and down to the river! We stayed for a few nights at the hotel and arrived after an electrical storm which had broken the hotels room card entry system so they could not issue us with a room card; this however we not a problem. The staff are fantastic, all speak english and all are so helpful. Every time we wanted access to our room a member of staff came straight over with a key to let us in. This is a minor irritation but could not be helped. The room was great, we had a balcony suite with hammock and loved just releasing and looking into the forest, the room was very comfy and well laid out. The hotel is remote but the centre of town is very touristy so your not missing much and its work staying here fore the awesome location, its what makes the stay so special. The hotel organises taxis for you which are convenient, quick and cheap. My only irritation was that the sauna and steam rooms are part of the Spa which you need to pay for, and I felt this was a bit of a cheek and not what I expect from a premium hotel. Despite that minor quip, I would very much stay again.”
The hotel was in a fantastic location. Easy to transfer from airport right in the heart of the national park. Easy to get to the falls and surrounding attractions. Located close to public transport to make your way into the township. Overall a great stay was very impressed and was the highlight of my trip to South America.”
A lovely hotel a short cab ride from the falls. The rooms were comfortable, the staff helpful, and the pool inviting and refreshing. The view overlooking 3 countries was unique. The breakfast buffet was not as good as other hotels we stayed at in Argentina, and the dinner restaurant was underwhelming. But these were small deficiencies in the whole experience,”
Great hotel. Staff extremely knowledgable and helpful. A little distant from the main area, but within easy walking distance. Very clean.”
We had a fantastic stay here. After a late arrival (due to border between Chile and Argentina!) we were welcomed with opened arms. English was well spoken by everyone which made things easier with our limited Spanish! The pool is very small and a little dated but a nice escape from the heat. The gym was good too. It is in a great location to walk out around the city during day and night. If you are looking for a nice classy hotel in Mendoza then don't look any further.”
This small boutique hotel is in an ideal location in Mendoza and the hotel staff are pleasant and very helpful. The restaurants they recommend had the best food I had in Argentina. The breakfast is very good and ask for a freshly made cafe con leche.”
location a bit fat from the city center but have shuttles during evening. beautiful view from the room. carpet in the room a little old and a lot of stains- other than that the room is clean and good value for the money!”
We were very impressed with this hotel. It has a lovely view of the lake and town and has regular shuttles in to town which were great. The two downsides were the lack of air conditioning / fan in the room and the breakfast. We couldn't open the bedroom windows because the curtains blocked them and so the room was quite hot and stuffy. The breakfasts were quite simple and didn't have a very good/healthy selection. However, overall we would recommend this hotel because of its excellent service, comfort and great views!”
It is a nice hotel with great pool (important for families) but in an after peak periods they had only one person at the reception on two occasions. This translates in waiting for a prolonged period while the receptionist firstly accompanied new guests to their room and then came back and attended to the guests in front of us. It took looong to check in... On other occasion there were no dry towels at the pool and none was there so again the same person from the reception had to leave his desk and brought the towels at the pool. This lack of staff shoud be really addressed by the management... Otherwise, the hotel is a bit removed out of the town center but nice, big and clean and personal is very friendly and speak English.”
