Americas Best Value Inn

Was not expecting much-based on price and the fact that it was not a recgnized name. However, the room was very acceptable for the money paid. The pool area was also very accetable with plenty of chairs and a very clean pool

we only stayed there the first night and had to leave early, because the room we had requested did not get. We wanted a king size bed. When we arrived at the room the air conditioner was frozen, so they had to move us to another room. Then the room they moved us to was a smoking room, well we don't smoke. The other thing is that the smoking room had a little fridge, coffee maker, and microwave oven but the non-smoking room did not, so you have to be a smoker to get certain upgrades? The rug was dirty like they did not vacuum very well before we checked in. Then the remote control for the television did not work. They brought us about three different ones but none worked. So thats another inconvenience. All of this is happening at night when we showed up tired from driving 3 1/2 hours to there. When you really just want to check in and go relax in your room. There wasn't a phone in the room either, so had to wait till they brought one in.
